FAQ

A virtual assistant is a remote professional who provides administrative, technical, or creative support to businesses, entrepreneurs, and busy individuals. VAs usually work from home and primarily communicate through email and occasionally through video and phone.

Outsourcing virtual assistance can save time, increase productivity, and reduce overhead costs. You can delegate routine tasks to VAs, allowing you to focus on more important aspects of your business or personal life.

VAs can perform a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: email management, calendar management, data entry, research, social media management, content creation, customer support, and project management.

Its as easy has submitting a task to local employee.  Skip submitting through platforms and spending hours navigating through them, and just directly send them an email with the task along with instructions.

Other ways of communicating the task to your VA could be via phone calls, video calls, instant messaging, or collaboration tools like Trello or Slack.

All of our pricing information is listed on our site. We only charge flat monthly rates, so you can manage your budgets with ease.

You are hiring ProPeople Services as a 1099 Tax form independent contractor. So you scale up or down, you’ll only need one tax form.

Be sure to consult with your accountant before proceeding.

Although ProPeople vets their applications, there’s always a risk relating to sharing sensitive information. We suggest avoid sharing any confidential information until enough trust is built between you and your VA.

You can provide your VA with detailed instructions through recording a youtube video, powerpoint slides, or emails detailing out the task you want them to perform.  Regular communication, feedback, and performance evaluations can also help improve their skills and efficiency.

If you’re unhappy with your VA’s performance, try providing constructive feedback and setting clear expectations. If the issue persists, contact us and we’ll swap your VA.

No, VAs usually have their own equipment and software. However, you might need to provide access to certain tools or platforms specific to your business or tasks.

You can use project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Basecamp to track tasks and progress. Regular check-ins, updates, and communication can also help ensure that work is on track.

Payments are done through ProPeople services. We then have a local agent in the foreign country that distributes the funds to the VA.

Payments can be made via online platforms like PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or Wise (formerly TransferWise), or through direct bank transfers. If your company policy required invoices to be generated and checks to be mailed out, we can accommodate that as well. Please be sure to communicate that with ProPeople Services.

Working with ProPeople Services can provide benefits like access to a broader talent pool, easier replacement in case of dissatisfaction, and additional support services.

Personality-based hiring is a recruitment approach that focuses on assessing a candidate’s personality traits, values, and cultural fit, in addition to their skills and experience, to determine their suitability for a role.

It can help you identify candidates who are more likely to succeed in your company culture and work well with your existing team, leading to increased employee engagement, productivity, and retention.

Hiring candidates based on personality fit can lead to  improved communication, and better collaboration. It can also contribute to a positive company culture, as employees with aligned values and work styles are more likely to be devoted to their jobs.

When employees feel they fit well within the company culture and team, they are more likely to be engaged, satisfied, and committed to their jobs, ultimately leading to higher employee retention.

This is not typical, but if it does happen we’ll make every effort to replace your VA as soon as possible. And in the interim, we can assign you one of our standby VAs to take care of the taks while your full time VA is being onboarded.
